Visit counts on this site are recorded server-side, without a cookie. Each pageview is logged with the page, the referring site (if any), and the visitor's IP address run through a one-way hash that is salted and rotates daily. The hash lets the same visitor be counted once per day without the raw IP address ever being stored. This data is used internally to see which pages get traffic; it is never sold or shared.

Because the only cookie this site sets is tied to signing in to an internal tool, most visitors will never receive one. If you do sign in and want to remove it afterward, clearing cookies for this site in your browser settings, or using a private/incognito window, will do it.
